Hello and Namaste !

In this story, we will learn how we can easily integrate Auth0 into our Spring Boot and React applications.

I have divided this story into two parts.

Part 1:
Setting up Auth0 and creating Spring Boot Application with secured API

Part 2:
Creating React app to use Auth0 login, generate token and call secured API.

This story is Part 2.

React App

React app will have Auth0 login, generate token and make call to secured API in Spring Boot Application.

  1. Create React App

2. Install the Auth0 React SDK

npm install @auth0/auth0-react

Hope all is well !

Here, we will learn how we can do field validation in Spring Boot application.

Things we will do:

  1. Create Spring Boot Application with ‘/login’ POST API that will validate email and password field and send out error response.
  2. Create React App. We will use Login form (HTML+CSS) from https://freefrontend.com/css-forms/. We will make API call and show error on each field (email and password).

Spring Boot Application

1. We can create Spring Boot application using Spring Initializer.
https://start.spring.io/

2. Dependencies to use are Spring Web and Validation.

Gradle dependency:

3. Create LoginRequestDTO.

Here, we have validations such…

Hi, hope everything is ok !

In this story, we will learn how we can get responses from Google Form and pass it to our Backend application.

We can achieve this with two methods:
1. Export CSV of Google Form Response and Upload to Backend application.
2. Using Google Apps Scripts.

Method 1: CSV Export

It’s a manual process. After user responses are collected in Google Form, you can export responses as CSV.

Hope you are doing well !

Here, we will build a real time application that will send a text message from Backend in Sprint Boot (Java) via websocket to Frontend in React.Js and Flutter. Text message to backend will be sent via POST request.

Please note that we will only send message from Server (Backend) to Clients (Frontend) and not receive any message from Clients.

Let’s start with Backend on Spring Boot (Server)

1. Create Sprint Boot Application

We can create sample spring boot application using Spring Boot Starter.

2. Add two dependencies

Spring WebBuild web, including RESTful, applications…
